Placing a custom order with us is very easy we have explained each every term that you will need to order your custom wig successfully.

Choose between High Quality and Celebrity Premium- to do this you have to decide if you want your wig to start with remy hair or Virgin hair. To get the details read the High Quality & Celebrity Premium page.

Type of Base- this is the cap construction of the wig which is the base of the wig. You want to ask yourself how you want to wear your lace wig. Do you want to wear a full lace wig with none of your hair out or do you want to wear a three quarter fall leaving your hair line out. You can view our cap construction page to get some ideas.

Type of hair- here you will choose between the different types of hair that we offer. We have provided a few links to wigs to show you the different types.

Length of wig- here you will choose how long you want to wig to be.

Hair texture- here you will choose what texture of hair you want your wig to have straight, curly, wavy, etc. We have provided a link to different wigs to help you make your decision.

Density- this is the thickness of the wig. This is very important because density will determine how natural the wig look we recommend either light to medium density of medium all over.

Base color I- This is the main color of the wig. You have many choices with the color of the wig the most important thing that you want to do is choose the correct base color. We have given you the option to blend two colors together to create one base color. You will do this by choosing your options in base color I and base color II, then giving us the percentage of base color I. Remember that lighter colors and Reds are more dominate then darker colors so be careful to choose a smaller percentage of the dominate colors. We have provided some sample for you to view to get on idea of how blending two colors to make one base color will work.

Base color II percentage- this will be the remainder percentage of you base color II choice. For example: if you choose color # 1B @ 60% for base color I, and color #3 for base color II, the percentage of color # 3 will be 40%. We will blend 60% of color # 1B and 40% of color # 3 to make one base color. Got it? Base Color II blend- this is the remainder percentage of the two base colors blended together as explained in the above paragraph. Just choose the second color that you want for your base color.

Hi-lite color- this is the color that you will use to blend in with the base color in small or large strips this color is normally a lighter color then the base, but some people have been known to choose a darker color that would be called a low light. We want you to design your custom wig exactly they way you desire so which ever color you choose will be fine with us.

Hi-lite distribution- here you will tell us what size you desire your hi-lites to be.

Hi-lite placement- here you will view a chart and tell us what sections you want us to place the hi-lites in by writing in the number of the sections.

Type of Knots- here you will choose what type of knots you desire. Most of our wigs are double knotted. However, we recommend that you have single knots in the perimeter of the wig and double knots everywhere else. We feel this makes the wig look more natural.

Bleached knots- this is a process that is done to make the knots that are tied at the base of the wig lighter his make the wig look very natural when placed near the scalp. We always recommend bleached knots. If you decide not to have the entire head done you should at least have the front hairline form ear to ear done.

Baby hair- This is the shorter hairs that are hand tied to the perimeter of the wig. This gives the wig a very natural look we definitely recommend baby hair.

Color of lace- here you will determine what color lace you desire. We always suggest that you choose a lace that is closer to your skin color. Here we have provided pictures of the different colors of lace against skin so you can make a better decision.

Type of hairline- here you will choose whether you desire a natural hair line or a widow's peak. If you have a natural widow's peak we recommend that you choose the widows peak. If you have a natural hair line we recommend that you choose the natural hairline.

Measurements- here you will follow the step by step instructions on our 'measurement page' just like the model. Make sure that you are not pulling too tight take each measurement with no tension, laying the measuring tape from one point to the other. Write down your findings on a piece of paper so you will have them for future use.

Special Instructions- We are able to duplicate the cut of a picture. If you have a picture of the cut you would like please sent us that picture to order@hairworksintl.com.

Payment Plan- We do not require that you pay for your custom wig in full in advance. We have devised a payment plan for you to make your purchase easy and pay a deposit. We only require that you put 50% down and the other 50% is due when your wig is completed. Here are the instructions you will need to take advantage of our 50 50 Payment Plan. After you have designed your wig click on the 'add to basket' button. This will bring you to a blank page click on the 'view basket' button, scroll down to the end of the page. There is a section marked 'Got a gift certificate, promotional code, or payment plan voucher' enter code. Enter this code in that section pp50, then click the 'apply changes' button. The screen will update. This will allow you to make a 50% deposit on your wig purchase. When your wig is completed you will receive an email from Hair Works Intl. alerting you that your wig completed and ready to ship. You will receive another email with a money request/invoice from paypal, requesting you to go to paypal and pay the balance of your wig purchase. You will need to have a Paypal account to take advantage of our payment plan. As soon as we receive your final payment through Paypal we will ship your wig immediately.
