Will hair extensions cause breakage to my hair?

The products that we use are safe for the hair. A full assessment of the hair and scalp will be done at the consultation to determine if the client is a candidate for hair extensions. The client will be well educated on how to properly take care of the hair and hair extension to make sure there is no breakage. As long as the client stays in a healthy state (meaning no illness occurs after the hair extensions are applied or any new medications have to be taken.) All of these things should be taken in consideration when hair extension application is considered.

How long will the hair extensions last?

4 to 6 months.

How long does my hair have to be in order to be considered a candidate for hair extensions?

At least 4 inches long, but exceptions can be made. Schedule a consultation.

Is it the same price every time?

Yes.

Can I use the same hair for the next application?

No, new hair has to be purchased for each application. The hair comes from the factory with the polymer applied to the tips. Once the full wear of the hair extensions is completed that polymer is worn off, and the hair can not be sent back to the factory to have new polymer applied.

How long does it take to apply the hair extensions?

2 to 4 hours depending on the length and thickness of the client’s hair.

How far up are the extensions applied?

A full head of Great lengths Hair Extensions is ¾ of a head. The top part of the hair and the edges of the hair are left out to cover the hair extensions. This makes the application look very natural.

What kind of hair is used?

We use two different type of products. Great Lengths and So. Cap. Great Lengths hair extensions hair uses Indian Temple Hair. The highest quality hair for hair extension all of the cuticle layers are in the same direction. This hair does not tangle.

The other product that we use is So Cap hair extensions. So Cap hair extensions used 100% European hair. All of the cuticle layers are in the same direction. This hair does not tangle.

How are the extensions removed and how long does it take?

With each extension we use a solution to remove the polymer. The removal process takes anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the client.

Will hair extensions help my hair to grow?

If you are a person in good health your hair will grow normally an average of 1\2 inch a month.. The hair extensions will not help your hair to grow your hair will grow on its own. The hair extension will grow out with your hair.

How do I know when it is time to take them out?

You will not be able to cover the polymer anymore.

Is it painful?

Not at all, some clients have complained of slight discomfort when they sleep the first night. But it goes away the next day.

Can I color my hair while I am wearing the hair extensions?

Yes.

Can I relax my hair while I am wearing the hair extensions?

Yes.

Can I apply more then one color?

Yes, as a matter of fact most people use more then one color. Color Blending is very important, and makes the hair extensions look very natural. We can also create unique color patterns for our customers.

What length hair is available?

Great Lengths Hair Extensions has lengths from 8 to 24 inches. So cap has lengths from 18 to 20 inches.

Can I swim in the hair extensions?

Yes, but you must follow very important instructions.

How often can I wash my hair?

As often as you like.

Can I blow dry my hair?

Yes.

Can I Roller set my hair?

Yes.
