All of the application methods adhesives and tapes have their own features and benefits and what you should choose depends solely on your needs.

Tape Lace Wigs Adhesive

The most commonly used Lace Wig double-sided tapes are

Clear Tape, also known as white tape is perfect for daily application of hair systems. It is the universal style of toupee tape and offers much less tack than other tape Lace wig adhesives.

Red Liner Tape has more tack than White tape, but can still be great for daily application and it can bond very secure for up to 3 days as well. Red toupee tape and is available in many contours and different length rolls.

Blue Clear Liner Tape, This type of toupee tape has the second most tack available and can keep your hair system on tight for up to three weeks. This type of tape was designed originally for its high levels of tack, but it is also great for extended wear hair systems.

Pro Flex Tapes offer the highest amount of tack out of any tape and can bond anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. They have a blue backing like regular blue tape but they also have holes in them, allowing the scalp to breathe easily. Pro-flex is ideal for extended wear systems and is recommended for a long lasting and secure bond.

Liquid Lace Wigs Adhesives

Liquid Lace Wigs Adhesives tends to be more popular with those individuals who maintain an active lifestyle. Glue will also hold up better if you enjoy swimming and other vigorous activities that will cause you to sweat a lot.

Liquid Lace Wigs Adhesives are available in two types, Water based Lace Wigs Adhesives and Solvent based Lace Wigs Adhesives.

Water based Lace Wigs Adhesives have fewer chemicals in them and may work better for those who have sensitive skin. However, solvent-based Lace Wigs Adhesives provide more tack than water based Lace Wigs Adhesives and allow for a longer wear time.
